The Rhodes Park Schools Group is composed of five companies: Rhodes Park Schools Limited, Woodford School Lusaka Limited, Ashford Academy Limited, EduSeve Limited and EduCorp Limited.
Rhodes Park School, established in the 1960s, is a premier private institution in Zambia, offering a K-12 education that follows both local and international curricula.
Woodford School Lusaka is a purpose-built co-educational institution in the Kabulonga area of Lusaka, providing 21st-century learning experience from Nursery through Grade 7.
Ashford Academy, which began operations in January 2022, is a co-educational boarding and day school situated on a 30-hectare estate, offering a balanced curriculum that includes both National and International (Cambridge IGCSE) pathways.
EduServe is the commercial arm of the Rhodes Park Schools Group, managing various school services such as the School Shops, Cafeteria, and Tuck-Shops across the group’s campuses.
EduCorp Limited, established in 2012, focuses on expanding the network of high-quality schools and colleges across Zambia and Southern Africa. Leveraging the experience and reputation of Rhodes Park Schools, EduCorp aims to ensure educational excellence and long-term financial sustainability while meeting the growing demand for quality education in the region. Within the group, EduCorp operates Ashford Academy and Woodford School Lusaka.

Academic and Administration
POSITION # 1:
Lower Primary Assistant Teacher
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Taking responsibility for a primary class, supporting, nurturing and taking a genuine interest in the holistic development of all children in that class.
- Working closely with Colleagues and the Head Teacher to ensure effective teaching and learning.
- Planning and implementing a relevant, challenging and rigorous curriculum.
- Planning and delivering lessons, ensuring attention is given to appropriate differentiation.
- Contributing to collaborative learning at all levels of school life.
- Creating inquiry-based classrooms that develop critical thinking skills, knowledge, and a range of skills within an environment based on trust, respect, and fairness.
- Selecting relevant resources and leveraging digital tools to support and enhance learning.
- Develop appropriate assessment tasks, providing timely and effective feedback that enhances pupil’s learning.
- Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Provide appropriate pastoral support as and when necessary.
- Play an active role in the school’s extra-curricular programmes
POSITION # 2:
Early Learning Teacher
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To work with children by providing a safe and nurturing environment for social and academic growth.
- To provide supervision, discipline and other forms of general care, in addition to helping with instruction and clerical work.
- To be responsible for observing and monitoring student activity at all times. In a classroom or gymnasium, on a playground, during field trips or during meals. You must be constantly aware of the locations of students and keep them in line of sight. Through this observation, you must be able to recognize inappropriate behaviour and discipline students accordingly.
- To provide an optimal learning environment.
- To prepare and execute lesson plans and activities, Develop Schedules and Enforce Routines
- To monitor students and to ensure that student injuries are avoided and provide age-appropriate Supervision
- Assess In-Class and Homework Assignments
- To facilitate individual and small group work so that students can enjoy a more specialized learning experience.
- To Maintain the health and well-being of the children under your supervision through cleaning, meal preparation, toileting and dealing with minor injuries. This includes dealing with children with special needs who often require other forms of care.
- Assist in the implementation of Creative Curriculum activities and encourage participation by children.
- Lead Daily Activities, maintain a Safe and Comfortable Environment by keeping all children active and engaged while they are in the classroom
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL COMPETENCIES
Preferred Academic and Professional Qualifications for Both Positions:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate with 5 Credits or better
- At least a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (for the ELC position); Diploma in Primary Education (for the Primary Assistant Teacher position) from a recognized college. A Bachelor’s Degree in Education will be an added advantage.
- Qualified teacher registered with The Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)
Knowledge / Experience /Skills/Competencies

- At least 2 years’ teaching experience
- Good communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills,
- Good administrative and interpersonal skills

POSITION #3:
Human Resources Assistant
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the HRM in various transactional duties as assigned by the HRM, primarily in areas of hiring, employee relations, filing and reporting on HR matters.
- Assist the Human Resources Manager (HRM) in the implementation of Human Resource policies and procedures in the Company.
- Support departments in developing leadership capabilities within the Group HR framework.
- Act as change catalyst in the cultural transformation of the Company.
- Implement and sustain the Company Code of Conduct and Value systems.
- Provide baseline information to the recruitment process for placing adverts, job descriptions and conducting interviews.
- Provide inputs to HRM for developing State of the Art HR systems and practices to build organizational mind-set, capability, and competitive advantage.
- Assist HRM in implementing Training and Development (T&D) initiatives within the framework of Corporate T&D strategies.
- Complete assigned special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results etc.
- Facilitate resolution of issues affecting employees
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports and maintain all HR related records
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration or any other related social science
- Valid practicing certificate from Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)
- At least one (1) year Human Resource Generalist experience
- Must possess a good understanding of the labour laws
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to make a presentation
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning employees and employee records
POSITION #4:
Administrative Operations Assistant
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work scheduling and Supervising outsourced subordinates under this office
- Effectively manage works projects assigned to the office
- Planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems
- Ensuring operations adhere to laid down policies, regulations and legislation
- Executing plans and programs in business, financial affairs, property and equipment, supplies, buildings, grounds maintenance, engineering and safety
- Preparing Budgets for the Administrative Department, and monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
- Developing budget recommendations for operating expenditures and/or capital outlay for both equipment, human resource, materials and utilities required by the Company
- Deputise the Administrative Manager in Monitoring inventory of office and academic supplies
- Spearhead effective management of Company assets – buildings and equipment, supplies, and grounds maintenance
- Ensuring the smooth and adequate flow of information within the Company to facilitate other business operations
- Maintaining administrative records, prepare reports, and compose work correspondence that meet the expected high professional standards
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Executive Management Team so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
- BSc/BA in Business Administration or related field
- Experience and proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel Worksheets
- Proven experience in an Administration position, with clear and traceable work history
- Proven leadership skills and qualities will be an added advantage to educational qualifications
- In-depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies
- Must be Familiar with financial and facilities management principles
- Strong Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at other locations essential
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
