1. Lead Fireman (1 position)
Job Overview
The Lead Fireman is responsible for ensuring preparedness and effective response to all fire and emergency situations. This role includes fire prevention, firefighting, rescue operations, equipment inspections, and maintenance. The position ensures safety compliance and coordination with emergency response teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Lieutenant in leading firefighting operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and equipment checks.
- Assist in planning fire drills and training programs.
- Supervise junior firemen during emergency response.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety procedures.
Minimum Requirements – Education, Experience and Skills
- Grade 12 certificate
- Tertiary education in Fire Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years firefighting experience.
- Certification in fire compliance and extinguisher refilling.
- Heavy-duty driver’s license required.
- Strong firefighting and rescue operations knowledge.
- Skilled in equipment inspection and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to manage emergency response under pressure.
- Mentoring and supervisory capabilities.
- Good physical fitness and stamina
2. Fireman (1 position)
Job Overview
The Fireman is responsible for ensuring preparedness and effective response to all fire and emergency situations. This role includes fire prevention, firefighting, rescue operations, equipment inspections, and maintenance. The position ensures safety compliance and coordination with emergency response teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to fire alarms and emergencies.
- Operate firefighting and rescue equipment.
- Participate in drills and training exercises.
- Inspect and maintain firefighting tools and gear.
- Assist in fire prevention and awareness programs.
Minimum Requirements – Education, Experience and Skills
- Grade 12 certificate
- Tertiary education in Fire Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years firefighting experience.
- Certification in equipment inspection and extinguisher refilling.
- Standard vehicle and trailer license required.
- Basic to intermediate firefighting knowledge.
- Proficient with firefighting equipment operation.
- Good understanding of fire safety and compliance.
- Teamwork and physical endurance.
- Ability to follow instructions during emergencies.
3. Fire and Emergency Response Lieutenant (1 position)
Job Overview
The Fire and Emergency Response Lieutenant is responsible for ensuring preparedness and effective response to all fire and emergency situations. This role includes fire prevention, firefighting, rescue operations, equipment inspections, and maintenance. The position ensures safety compliance and coordination with emergency response teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate fire and emergency response teams.
- Plan, supervise, and execute fire drills and training sessions.
- Oversee fire inspections and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Manage the maintenance and functionality of firefighting equipment.
- Prepare incident reports and document emergency responses.
Minimum Requirements – Education, Experience and Skills
- Grade 12 certificate
- Tertiary education in Fire Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years firefighting experience.
- Certified in fire compliance inspection and verification.
- Qualified in refilling pressurized fire extinguisher mediums.
- Heavy-duty driver’s license required.
- Advanced knowledge of fire suppression techniques.
- Strong leadership and emergency decision-making skills.
- Competency in equipment failure analysis and safety audits.
- Ability to operate all fire and rescue equipment.

4. Quality Inspector Rolling Mill (1 position)
Position Summary
To monitor the shift in inspecting the quality of finished products from the cooling bed to bundling area as well as being responsible for all employees during the shift.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Being the Shift-In-Charge in the shift to ensure that all workers are allotted work accordingly.
- Lead the inspection of finished products from the cooling bed to bundling area after collect the sample.
- Inspection during dispatch of final products to the stock yard.
- Lead the Rod Mill/Section mill & window section inspection of final products in terms of w/mtr, rib height and other physical parameters.
- Ensuring that UTM Operators are following procedures when conducting tensile tests.
- Ensuring that correct data is being entered in log books and in ERP.
- Recording and reporting all abnormalities/ defects in products during production.
- Making of daily, weekly, monthly, bi-annual as well as annual reports for Quality Assurance department.
- Ensure the consistency of production statistical data in ERP and statistical study of final products.
- Making of Test Certificates about physical and Metallurgical properties of products when required.
- Maintaining of Rod mill Non-Conformance Reports for products.
- Maintaining of ERP data relating to testing etc under quality assurance.
- Ensuring that all UTM operators understand the procedures and work instructions.
Minimum Requirements – Education, Experience and Skills
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Graduate in Metallurgy or any science related programme.
- At least five (5) years work experience.
- Computer knowledge is a must i.e. familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, database, and internet
5. Utility Operator ( 2 positions)
Job Overview
The Utility Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining utility systems such as boilers, chillers, air compressors, water treatment units, HVAC systems, and power distribution equipment. The role ensures the continuous and safe supply of essential utilities to support plant operations, adhering to safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, readings, and checks on utility systems and log performance data.
- Troubleshoot and report abnormalities or equipment malfunctions.
- Carry out minor maintenance tasks and assist maintenance teams during breakdowns or scheduled maintenance.
- Monitor chemical dosing and maintain proper parameters for water and wastewater systems.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and procedures.
- Assist in energy conservation efforts by monitoring efficiency and reporting areas for improvement.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the utility areas.
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure accurate communication of operational status.
Minimum Requirements – Education, Experience and Skills
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma / Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or relevant field
- 2–5 years of experience operating industrial utility systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience with boiler operation, chillers, water treatment, or compressed air systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of utility systems operation and basic maintenance.
- Ability to read gauges, meters, P&ID drawings, and control panels.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CMMS systems.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to utility operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency situations.
6. Mechanical Shift Engineer (5 positions)
Job Overview
The Mechanical Shift Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient and continuous operation of all mechanical systems, machinery, and utilities during assigned shifts. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting production and operations teams to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor, operate, and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and utilities during shifts.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, HVAC systems).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and repairs using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with company and regulatory standards.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians or apprentices.
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain clear communication between shifts.
Minimum Requirements – Education, Experience and Skills
- Grade 12 Certificate
- 2–5 years of experience in a mechanical maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a shift-based environment.
- Experience in manufacturing, process industries, or utilities is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS and basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts (day/night/weekends as required).
7. CCTV Installer (3 positions)
Job Overview
A CCTV Installer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Closed Circuit Television systems used for security, surveillance, and monitoring purposes..
Key responsibilities
- Installing cameras, cables, DVRs/NVRs, monitors, and other equipment necessary for CCTV systems.
- Configuring systems for optimal performance, testing for functionality, and ensuring integration with other security systems if required.
- Performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing faults in CCTV systems.
- Ensuring CCTV systems are secure, functioning correctly, and meet client requirements for surveillance.
- Provide information on system operation, troubleshooting basic issues, and responding to on-call emergency repairs or installations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate a must.
- Certification in security systems, CCTV installation, Electronics or a related field.
- 2-3 years experience in CCTV installation and maitenance
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, including IP and analog cameras, recording devices, and networking principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with CCTV equipment.
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, or outdoor conditions and prioritize multiple tasks.
